@blubbi: kommt drauf an wie das Programm bzw der Netzwerkcode in dem Fall geschrieben ist. Momentan isses so wie du sagst, bei den Classic Games brauche ich aber keine Inetverbindung. Irgendwann kommt sicher der Zeitpunkt, wo neuere Games bei z.b. den WCG gezockt werden und was dann ?
Klar hat es nicht mehr so die Relevanz, allerdings isses doch so, das gerade im eSport (der sich auch ned ewig auf cs 1.6 und wc3 beschränken wird) eben auch LAN Events am Start sind.
Letzendlich isses auch so, dass ein LAN Modus nicht wirklich viel Mehraufwand bedeutet, aber doch einiges an Prestige gibt IMHO. Wo wäre ein Starcraft 1 heute bzw Blizzard ohne LAN Modus ?
Klar musses jeder selber entscheide, ob er sich ein game kauft oder nicht. Allerdings ist es dann auch unangebracht, sich als Käufer solcher Games, über eine Entwicklung aufzuregen, die man selber mit unterstützt ...
und @ franz: auf Tests von pcg und gs kann man eigentlich nicht mehr wirklich viel geben ... ( ganz allgemein)
